The patent-pending SafeGuard H2O™ is an innovative approach for addressing lead contamination in drinking water supplies. SafeGuard H2O is an economical, reliable and intelligent lead abatement system that generates a stannous ion reagent in-situ via an electrolytic process. The system also features an online lead analyzer to measure system performance in real time.

Aqua Metrology Systems has completed the successful demonstration of their SafeGuard™ H2O proof of concept for the treatment of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) at the City of Los Banos in California. The novel technology generates a stannous ion reagent in-situ via an electrolytic process and also features an online Cr(VI) monitoring analyzer to ensure remediation of Cr(VI) to below 10 ppb.

This novel technology generates a stannous ion reagent in-situ via an electrolytic process and also features an online Cr(VI) monitoring analyzer to ensure remediation of Cr(VI) to below 10 ppb. The technology provides an economical and reliable treatment for water systems affected by contamination from Cr(VI), a known carcinogen.

HollyFrontier Cheyenne Refining LLC, a subsidiary of HollyFrontier Corp., Dallas, has purchased and installed the MetalGuard™ Selenium online analyzer to measure the wastewater selenium profile at the Cheyenne Refinery, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
