AMS’ Introduces ‘Micro-Piloting’ for SafeGuard™ H2O Trace Metal Remediation System to Reduce Costs and Deployment Time of Pilots

AMS a leader in the prediction, control and treatment of trace metals, introduces a “Micro-Piloting” program for its novel intelligent SafeGuard™ H2O trace metal remediation system. Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District in California Pilots SafeGuard™ H2O Chromium Remediation System

AMS announced the pilot demonstration of its SafeGuard™ H2O HexavalentChromium [Cr (VI)] remediation system at California’s Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District. Real-time data on the system’s performance will be streamed live, providing transparency of the pilot study and treatment efficacy of the technology.

Samsung Austin Semiconductor Improves Safety and Quality of Measurements for Copper Wastewater Streams with MetalGuard™ Analyzer

The semiconductor industry has found that traditional analytical methods for complexed copper in wastewater are not fit for purpose. Complexed copper cannot be measured using ion-selective electrodes and colorimetry technology faces a number of severe challenges. Faced with the challenges of colorimetry, Samsung Austin Semiconductors (SAS) evaluated the MetalGuard™ analyzer for its potential to significantly improve safety and quality of measurements for copper wastewater streams.

Aqua Metrology Systems has completed the successful demonstration of their SafeGuard™ H2O proof of concept for the treatment of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) at the City of Los Banos in California. The novel technology generates a stannous ion reagent in-situ via an electrolytic process and also features an online Cr(VI) monitoring analyzer to ensure remediation of Cr(VI) to below 10 ppb.
